Rehoming & Adoption

What is rehoming?

Thousands of cats are abandoned every year from cute kittens to mature and older cats. Rehoming is about giving them a new start, with a new family who can offer them the love and attention they deserve. We never put a healthy cat to sleep and will look after a cat until a new home is found.

Meet our cats!

Name: Muffy
Gender: Female neu
Age: 2 years

Muffy came in a few weeks ago as her owner was unable to keep her in rented accomodation. She is a medium-long haired, black female. She really does not like the pen and would make an ideal pet for any family although it might be best for her to be the only cat, although she has met the other cats in care and was not aggressive. Very playful and loving.

Name: Ginny
Gender: Female (N)
Age: 1yr

Black/white girl very friendly is recovering from a broken leg & is doing fine is ok with children & other cats.

Name: Sparkie & Skye
Gender: Female
Age: 4mths

We are two ginger /white females very loving looking for a home together we are suitable for everyone. Sparkie has long hair skye short We ars also fully vaccinated & spayed

Name: Toyah
Gender: Neutered f
Age: 2 years

Toyah is a beautiful tabby and white cat who is very loving once she knows you. She has been used to a very rural environment and would probably suit a family with older children

Name: Waif
Gender: Female neu
Age: 1 - 2 years

Waif was a stray in central Salisbury with her two kittens. She is a beautiful long haired tortoiseshell and has been speyed etc. She will be nervous at first as she has had to live rough but has been purring in her pen. She came in with two kittens who are old enough to leave her.

Name: Bertie & Bertha
Gender: Male/femal
Age: 13 weeks

Bertie is a tabby short haired kitten and Bertha is his black short haired sister. They need to go together to a quiet home with perhaps older children. They are both happy healthy kittens who appear to distrust strangers but are very happy with people they know.
BOTH KITTENS HAVE NOW BEEN NEUTERED AND ARE FULLY VACCINATED

Name: Winona
Gender: Female (N)
Age: 1 year

Winona a black speyed female. She is fully vaccinated, neutered and chipped etc. She has played around the house and garden so would suit a quiet area with a garden. She is very gentle, loving and playful. Some lucky family will one day give her a loving home. No young children as Winona is afraid of them!!!

Name: Semi-ferals
Gender: mainly fem
Age: various

FOOD AND ACCOMODATION REQUIRED FOR A LITTLE LIGHT MOUSE WORK!!
When asked to remove feral cats from farms etc we can only neuter and return. When a home comes up we then re-trap and relocate the cats to their new home. Occassionally we have feral cats in care but this is not an ideal situation as they get stressed being confined to a cat chalet. If interested please give us a call.

Why buy kittens from a newspaper?

Why pay £50-£100 for a kitten from adverts in the paper - Look what we offer as standard:

All of the above would normally cost well over £100! Couple that with the fact that you will be helping cats who are desperately in need of homes and everybody wins!

All we ask for is a reasonable donation - most people find between £50 and £75 is acceptable. So not only does your money benefit the cats in our care, you end up with far more than a newspaper trader could offer!

About Salisbury CP

We are always on the look out for new volunteers - people who can take telephone calls, help fundraise and promote the work we do are most welcome.
